DIVORCE

The Law Office of Jennifer S. Getty, L.L.C. understands the emotional distress that often accompanies the decision to file for divorce. We strive to provide compassionate and realistic advice to our clients to ensure a fair outcome. If a husband and wife are able to agree on a division of their property, support, and if applicable, child custody and parenting time, a dissolution may be possible. A final dissolution hearing will typically be held 30-90 days after the filing with the court. However, if the parties cannot agree on the terms to end their marriage, a complaint for divorce will need to be filed. The Law Office of Jennifer S. Getty, L.L.C. offers reasonable fees and experienced representation in divorce/dissolution cases.

CRIMINAL DEFENSE

Facing a criminal charge is a scary and intimidating situation. Our zealous representation of our clients and positive working relationships with prosecuting attorneys for the state ensure fair outcomes of our cases, including plea bargains, acquittals after jury trials and dismissal of criminal charges. Our office handles a variety of felony and misdemeanor cases in both common pleas and municipal courts.

JUVENILE LAW

Our office represents juveniles in a variety of delinquency and traffic matters and also represent parents in the juvenile court system, who were never married to each other, in private custody/support and parenting time matters.

LANDLORD REPRESENTATION

Our office recognizes the importance of fast filings for evictions. For property owners, it is frustrating and financially burdensome when a tenant fails to pay rent or abide by their lease terms. We strive to process eviction complaints and file them with the court within 48 hours. The faster the complaint is filed, the quicker the matter will be heard by the court. Our knowledge and experience in this area ensures that our clients receive quality advice and representation in these matters.
